A Free Morning Bible Quiet Time for Moms
Meet With God Before You Meet Your Day™
Wake Up Loved is a short daily quiet time built for the morning you're actually having. Fifteen minutes, a real passage, and a prayer, with the toddler awake and the coffee going cold.
Peace, joy, and trust to start with. You're already loved before the day asks a single thing of you.

"Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you."
~ Psalm 143:8, World English Bible
Which one of these is your morning?
- 2 AM, nursing in the dark, wide awake and lonely with your phone in your hand.
- 5 AM, the quiet time you meant to have, except everybody else woke up too.
- 6:47 AM, a small person is already calling your name and you reach for your phone.
- Naptime, which was going to be the pocket, and then it wasn't.
- Bedtime, and the thought lands again. I didn't open my Bible today.
Your Bible isn't sitting there because you stopped caring. It's sitting there because the plan you were handed assumed a morning you don't have.
You can start today. It doesn't have to be January.
What usually happens
Most plans are dated. Miss a week in February and the page numbers start keeping score. So the book closes, and the next honest attempt waits eleven months for a fresh January.
You've probably done that more than once. Most of us have.
What happens here
Nothing here is dated. Come back after three days or three months and start with today. There's no streak to protect and no counter telling you what you lost.
The plan was the thing that broke. Not you.
Imagine a gentler morning.
You wake, and before the day starts pulling, you take the first few minutes. A verse. Three slow breaths. One honest sentence to God, out loud or not.
Nothing performed. Nothing finished. A small turning toward the One who was already awake before you were.
The day will still be the day. You'll walk into it having been with Him first.
Three ways in
Pick the one that fits this week.

Have you ever noticed how much is holding you together before you're even awake?
Your heart kept its rhythm all night with no instruction from you. Your lungs did too. The earth turned a full quarter, the sun came up on schedule, and the birds outside started before anyone asked them to.
I'm still turning this over. It seems to me that an ordinary morning is the plainest evidence we have that we're held, and that whoever set all of that in motion is entirely capable of the smaller things we carry in.
Wake Up Loved is a daily practice of noticing it. That's most of what it is.

~ Abiding Life Quiet Time Companion review
Come as you are, in the season you're in.
- You're four months postpartum and the only quiet you get is at 2 AM.
- You came to faith as an adult and nobody handed you the basics. You're building it from scratch.
- You've quit more reading plans than you can count and you're wary of starting another.
- You're questioning some of what you were taught, and you still want the Word.
- You have a toddler who is absolutely going to walk in. Bring him.
I'm not writing to you from a mountaintop, and I won't tell you what God is going to do in your morning. I'll open the Bible with you and we'll see what's there.
Have we met?
Hi, I'm Maraya.
Welcome to my home on the web! I'm a blended mom of four and I made Wake Up Loved because I needed it first. I couldn't find a quiet time that fit busy seasons and integrated my faith and everyday life walk, all in one sitting. So I built one that did.Â
I am also the founder of Home CEO Academy, providing homeschool programs for parents of preschoolers.
I'm still learning to abide, most mornings, right in the middle of it. If you'd like, come learn alongside me.
Wake Up Loved is a program of Adsila Kids, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Wake Up Loved
He has gone before you today.
Here's something small to try. Write Psalm 118:24 on a notecard: "This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it." Set it on the coffee table or tape it to the bathroom mirror where you'll see it more than once.
Read it as a promise, not an assignment. He made this day on purpose, and He put good in it. Somewhere in the next few hours there's something worth being glad about, and you get to be the one who finds it. You might not even have to look hard.
Peace, joy, and trust. That's what grows as we meditate on His word and let His peace steady our hearts, until it overflows into the places we live, work, and play. Â Life is an adventure when we align our hearts with God's purposes and plans for our lives and allow him to cultivate and then use our gifts for good.
New here?  Start with my 30-day Abiding series on the podcast. Jesus says that's where life, real life (the effortless, fueled from within, connected to depthless source kind of life) starts. It is my hope that as you allow the power of God's vine life to flow into your heart and mind over this 30-day journey, you will experience more peace and joy, even in life's ups and downs.
